Camping beneath shady trees

Do you want to go camping somewhere a bit different, away from the crowds at caravan parks? Come and experience the serenity of High Country Camp’s unique farm stay.

Camping with drive through sites is available at two campsites. The pear tree campsite is situated beneath rows of shady ornamental pear trees, near bathrooms and the accommodation buildings. Very handy if you’re camping as part of a larger group with some staying in the buildings. Limited powered sites, please book ahead if you need power.

Or camp by the huge dam with permanent water and wake up to a glorious sunrise overlooking the valley.

Try your luck at fishing for a Murray cod (catch and release only, bring a one hook lure). Or enjoy a paddle in a kayak, wander around our farm or challenge yourself to the many fun activities.

Want to bring your horse? We have yards for horses to stay overnight, a full size sand arena, small round yard  plus good access to trail rides.

We recommend booking ahead, particularly for the busy holiday weekends and warmer months. Check out the reviews from happy campers on WikiCamps.
